Daniel Sharp (b. 1994, Grand Rapids, MI) is a Detroit-based artist, musician, writer, and interdisciplinary organizer. The majority of their work deals with deterioration, social patterns, public policy, and land.

I consider the consultancy I founded and direct, DSCS, a part of my social practice.

DSCS is a community strategy consultancy that builds sustainable relationships and financial systems for artists, institutions, and companies. With a background in public art, programs, publications, digital engagement, and crowdfunding, DSCS helps over 30 clients craft their story, grow their platform, secure funding, and claim agency.

My work has included:
  • Raising $4,500,000+ for 500+ artists and organizers.
  • Built one public art collectives and three networks for artists from the ground up.
  • Worked with artists who have gone on to receive Guggenheim fellowships, Creative Capital grants, and solo exhibitions at MoMA, PAMM, and the Whitney Museum.
